PZD (Partial
Zona Dissection) micropipets are used in blastomere biopsy
and mechanical hatching techniques by physically piercing the
zona pellucida.
Humagen PZD
micropipets are pulled with a long thin taper to a sharp point.
PZD micropipets
may be ordered straight or with an angle. Angle choices are
15°, 20°, 25°, 30°, 35°, 40° and 45°.
Standard PZD micropipets
are angled 0.5mm from the tip. However, you may order a
customized PZD micropipet angled 1mm, 1.5mm or 2.0mm back
from the tip.
A number of
micropipets are typically stocked in our inventory. Others
are made when ordered and require 4-6 weeks delivery time.
